Lost's Damon Lindelof has reportedly been taking meetings with Ridley Scott and Fox for the upcoming Alien prequel.

Now, it's down to the studio to figure out the next step. It's looking like the Alien prequel won't be Scott's directorial gig. Deadline rightly says he has attached himself to a number of projects like Gucci, the vampire film The Passage, based on the best-seller of the same name and The Wolf of Wall Street.

On GALAXY, they said that the original article that Shock Till You Drop copied this from said NOTHING about Scott not directing, so you can rest easy on that front. Its bullshit, pure and utter.
