Predator Characters
Below is a collection of mini articles featuring information on the Predators present in Robert Rodriguez’s summer 2010 blockbuster; “Predators”.
Brief Information:
Class: “Super Predator”
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Nicknames: “Berserker”, “Super Black Predator”, “Flusher”
Berserker Predator
The “Berserker Predator” is a massive, new style of Predator; knwon as a “Super Predator” that we come to meet in Predators. This Predator is larger, stronger and more aggressive than any other Predators we’ve ever seen before. He seems to have a dominent stature over the other Predators in this trio of green-blooded hunters. He flushes out the team during the film and proceeds to stalk them, testing them. Berserker wields a new kind of Plasma Caster; one that has a sort of rotating chargerer installed, which makes it’s blasts more powerful than the standard Plasma Caster we saw before. He also has a single, blade on his wrist gauntlet; instead of the classic “dual wrist blades” we have come to know in the previous films. Aside form that, no new weapons are uncovered. “Bersekrer” also has a physical encounter with our “Classic Predator” during the film. As we come to understand, there are different races of Predator, and there is a blood feud going on where these bigger, “Super” Predators hunt and kill their smaller relatives. The Berserker does kill our Classic Predator after a brief encounter, but then finally meets his fate when Royce and Isabelle team up to take him down. Berserker also introduces a new vision mode; one that allows them to se the sonic vibration outputs by one’s heart beat. Quite interresting.

Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Nicknames: “Tracker”, “Tusks Predator”
Tracker Predator
This Predator, known as the “Tracker” Predator controlled the Predator Dogs and used them to flush Royce and the crew out of hiding so that the Predators could find them. He’s a large Predator, more of a brute than the others. His mask has two tusks extruding out form the front of it. The Tracker Predator engages in combat with Nikolai and shoots him in the back. Once down, he stabs Nikolai in the chest and lifts him up, but Nikolai grabs a couple grenades and lights them both up thus ending The Tracker’s life very quickly. We don’t see much of this Predator throughout the film, unfortunately.

Falconer Predator
This Predator is extremely agile and not nearly as large as the other Predators we meet in the film. This Predator controls the new “Predator Falcon” device that we see in the film. The Falconer stalks and faces Hanzo in a field, where they engage in a stylish sword fight. Hanzo, using his Katana and The Falconer using his Wrist Blade. Both die in the end. This Predator also only wields one blade on his wrist gauntlet. Some new devices brought forth by this Predator are the Falcons. Only one is seen in the film. This device is used to scout ahead and watch prey from above and then return to the Predator with information.
Brief Information:
Class: “Predator”
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Nicknames: “Classic Predator”, “Anytime”, “Jungle Hunter”
Classic Predator
The Classic Predator is similar to the original Predator from 1987′s “Predator“. This Predator, better known as “Anytime” by fans is found trapped on this world, put there by the trio of Super Predators. He is later released by Royce in attempts to have him help drive the Predator ship back to Earth. Anytime programs the ship to take off and fly for earth. Once “Berserker” realises what Anytime has done, they blood boils and they engage in a relentless battle, throwing eachother around and smashing heads. It would seem Anytime had some compassion for the humans, ultimately making him a “good guy”, or just another victim of the Super Predators wrath. Anytime dies by being decapitated by The Berserker’s Wrist Blade, after he is knocked down by repeated blunt hits to the face. Anytime was significantly smaller than The Berserker, just going to show how much larger these Super Predators really are.
